LAUREN Duggar has done it again, wearing pants at her in-laws despite the conservative family’s strict dress code.
The wife of Josiah wore pants for a second time at Duggar event, this time at “family fall festival” where the clan competed in pie making, pumpkin bowling and other fun activities.
Fans spotted her wearing the slim legged black trousers in a video on posted by her sister-in-law, Jessa from her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob’s property.
They rushed to praise Lauren for her ongoing rebellion saying, “guess she’s a regular pants wearer now”.
One viewer on Reddit wrote: I love that she’s kind of giving Boob and Meech the middle finger on their own property”.
Another fan said: “YAS LAUREN WEAR THE PANTS.”
And a third added: “I’m happy to see Lauren not give a s**t.”
Lauren’s act of defiance comes just weeks after, the mom of one, wore loose pants to Jim Bob’s home the night before the presidential election.
The Duggar family pride themselves on following strict Christian rules on their show, which some of the children have faced criticism for breaking.
They have always tried to implement a conservative dress code, discourage birth control use, and urge the use of parental chaperones while they go on dates prior to being married.
Lauren married into the family but came from a similarly fundamental family.
Jill, 29, has made the biggest changes however, becoming estramged from her parents over her claims she was never paid for her appearances on TLC show Counting On.
Jill and husband Derick Dillard recently opened up leaving the reality series as Jill explained: “Our control to choose what jobs we were allowed to accept and even where we were allowed to live was taken away from us.”
Derick added to her comments: “The first few years of our marriage, we spent time and money working towards opportunities only to hit a dead end when we’d be told, ‘Well, you’re not allowed to do that.'”
