SUN royal expert Judy Wade has died, aged 81.
She spent 17 years on Britain’s favourite paper, interviewing royals and celebs in 69 countries.
Australian Judy joined The Sun in 1972, covered the wedding of Charles and Princess Diana in 1981 and went on to become a royal author.
Her favourite royal was the Duke of Edinburgh “because he’s so rude and makes you laugh”.
Judy said: “He came out to me at Sandringham and said: ‘Having a good snoop, are we?’”
The divorcee, from Hemel Hempstead, Herts, died on Sunday.
She leaves a daughter, Jordan, and two grandchildren.
