Charles and Camilla only recently returned to face-to-face royal engagements at a social distance after the coronavirus crisis forced the Royal Family to carry out engagements via video link. Now, something has caught the eye of royal fans as the Duchess of Cornwall begins her return to normality.
The Duchess of Cornwall visited Swindon Fire Station and Swindon Borough Council yesterday.
Royal fans were delighted to see her and the Prince of Wales up and about after a lengthy period of self-isolation.
The pair were staying at their Scottish residence shortly before receiving the news that Prince Charles had tested positive for coronavirus.
Charles was since given the all clear and has begun face-to-face engagements including his visit to their local hospital to chat to NHS workers.

Camilla, dressed to impress on the visit, putting on a stylish display in a monochrome checked dress.
The dress featured white collar detail – and accessorised with a pair of dainty pearl earrings.
Pictures of the visit was posted on the Clarence house Twitter account and royal fans were stunned by Camilla’s latest look
“She looks really pretty in that dress @ClarenceHouse.” said one user.
“I love her dress!” added a second.

During her visit, the royal said everyone will have to keep their “fingers crossed” the country does not experience a second wave of coronavirus.
She spent the visit thanking frontline health and emergency workers for their efforts in working tirelessly through the pandemic.
At the end of the visit to Swindon fire station, the duchess told the group: “Just before I go, I’d like to thank you for everything you’ve done throughout this pandemic – I don’t know, we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we don’t see the second wave.
“But I think it’s lovely to see how everybody’s working together.”

The caption of the Clarence House pictures read: “Today at @SwindonFireStn, The Duchess of Cornwall met key workers including firefighters, @GWH_NHS staff and @swasFT paramedics.
“firefighterHospitalAmbulance @DWFireRescue has maintained its service during the pandemic and adapted to relieve the pressures on others.
“Firefighters, who are trained to drive emergency response vehicles and carry out first aid, have helped the @swasFT by driving ambulances alongside a clinician or paramedic.
“In the Southwest region, these ambulances have responded to over 3,000 incidents.”

The account added: “The South Western Ambulance Service have boosted their resources during the pandemic through fire and ambulance collaboration, inviting students to help and bringing back previous staff, as well as deploying staff from other departments.”
The visit was staged in the open air at the back of the fire station surrounded by engines.
The duchess praised fire crews who changed roles to support paramedics, saying: “It’s one of these things, everybody has pulled together, which is so important – I take my hat off to you all.”
It comes just days after it was revealed the Duchess of Cornwall will discuss life in lockdown, missing her grandchildren and how Charles is the fittest man she knows for his age in an upcoming radio interview.

Camilla is due to cover a wide range of topics as she undertakes her first-ever radio guest edit on BBC Radio 5 Live’s The Emma Barnett Show on Tuesday.
On the show, Camilla will discuss life during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The Duchess of Cornwall will also open up about her family, her work-from-home style, and her charity work.
Camilla has given a pre-recorded interview discussing Prince Charles’ health following his coronavirus diagnosis in March.
