Bradley Cooper has revealed the chilling message Tommy Cooper gave him from beyond the grave.
The Chase host believes that the comedian, who died of a heart attack live on stage, communicated with him via a medium.
Two weeks after Tommy died, Bradley was forming a series of stand-up gigs in Basingstoke when a stranger came up to him at the bar and sad he had something he needed to tell him.
“I will never forget it. I was having an orange juice and he was about 6ft 2in with coiffured hair, wearing a black polo neck, a medallion around his neck and a purple velvet jacket. He was totally out of place in this small social club,” Bradley told The Sun.
“He said: ‘Tommy Cooper told me to tell you from the other side that he’s watching over you. To keep doing what you’re doing. It may make some time, but you’ll get there in the end’.
“I was completely dumbstruck. I didn’t want to be rude and tell him Tommy was dead, but it stuck with me and I didn’t sleep for about two weeks after.”
Bradley said he never believed in the afterlife and was to scared to repeat the story before as he thought people would think he was ‘off his rocker.’
“But I’ve said it now,” he said, revealing that even recounting it made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
It comes after the TV presenter said he’s quit drinking alcohol and eating fatty foods after doctors warned him he’s at high risk of heart disease.
The health scare prompted Bradley to overhaul his diet and he’s managed to lose 10lbs since.
Bradley said his dad Daniel died of a heart attack at 59 and he didn’t want to end up the same way.
