A shopper has claimed PrettyLittleThing is sizing one of their skirts wrong after she found a size 26 skirt to be nearly the same as a size 16 one from Primark.
Stephanie Elizabeth took to Twitter to share a video showing the comparison of the two similar style skirts.
She tagged the online fashion retailer and wrote in the post: “So the top denim skirt is a size 16 from Primark, and the bottom one is a size 26 from PrettyLittleThing.
“No way on this Earth, is that an accurate size 26.
“I would dread to think how small a size 16 is…wouldn’t even get my leg in it.
In the video, she places the size 16 blue studded denim skirt on top of the size 26 grey denim skirt she bought from PrettyLittleThing.
To her surprise, the size 26 skirt is just about two inches wider than the other one on the waistband.
The confused shopper then shows the label tag to the camera, which reads “Plus Charcoal one-sided Distressed Hem Denim Skirt Size 26”.
The same skirt advertised on the website stated a size UK 26 garment measures 45.25 inches on the waist and 55.5 inches on the hip.
And Primark’s size 16 bottoms are said to fit a 33.4-inch waist and 42.9-inch hips.
Stephanie said she was “shocked” by the apparent mis-sizing as one viewer commented she should “send everything back” because of the same issue.
A customer service operator from the PrettyLittleThing approached Stephanie and asked her to send over her order number for the team to look into it.
Daily Star Online has contacted PrettyLittleThing for comment.
