As things slowly get back to normal across the UK, it seems Pret is too and with it, the return of some sandwich classics rejoining the menu.
Pret has announced that the limited edition Lobster Roll is returning to the menu, alongside the much loved Jambon Beurre from the 7th July. There are also three new Salad Bowls to entice and delight customers. But the big news? The lunchtime sandwich shop is trialling ‘Dinners by Pret’, an evening delivery menu of new and exclusive items.
Now you might be thinking “how can I try this for free?” – well, when you order Pret through TopCashback and Just Eat, TopCashback will refund 100% of the purchase order value up to £10 cashback on purchases at Just Eat.
Purchases over £10 will still receive £10 cashback and it applies to any restaurant available on Just Eat. How good is that? Basically you can treat yourself to a sandwich or two for free. And it doesn’t get better than that now, does it?
Sadly, the Cashback offer is only available for new members or those with no previous purchases or cashback through TopCashback.
Of course you can also pick up a treat for yourself when you’re next on the high street, so we’ve made it easier for you by listing Pret locations, here.
Pret’s Lobster Roll first launched last summer, with its modest price tag of just £5.99, it proved quite popular with customers. And fans of the bouji sandwich can be reunited with it once again on the 7th July and grab it from selected shops across the country.
It’s a welcome edition to any picnic. The Lobster Roll is made with ethically sourced and high-quality North American Maine Lobster, dressed with fresh lemon mayo, crispy romaine lettuce and cucumber, all seasoned with a pinch of chilli.
The Jambon Beurre, priced from £2.65, has long been a cult-Pret favourite and, also makes a return to the menu. The classic French recipe is made using Wiltshire-cured ham, sliced cornichons and a dab of butter. Our mouth is watering just at the thought of one…
Brand new to the menu are three delicious sounding Salad Bowls. Pret is now offering customers a fresh and delicious option for lunch. The Chipotle Sweet Potato Salad Bowl, priced at £5.35, combines roasted sweet potatoes and spicy chipotle ketchup, which is served on a bed of mixed salad and crunchy slaw, with avocado, charred corn salsa and pickled onions. It is then topped with fresh coriander and served with a pot of ceviche style dressing for a light but filling vegan lunch.
Perfect for lunch in the garden between work calls, the Salmon & Mango Salad Bowl, from £6.35, is made up of roasted salmon with fresh mango, avocado, edamame soya beans, sliced cucumber, and pickled onions, served with a pot of zingy green dressing.
Completing the new menu, the Tamari & Ginger Chicken Salad Bowl, from £5.35, sees chicken coated in a tamari and ginger dressing, served with broccoli, soya edamame beans, topped with pickled cabbage and carrot and finished with a pot of green dressing.
Now about that new evening delivery menu – it’s been designed for customers looking for fresh, healthier delivery options. Pret will also begin to trial evening delivery from 7 July in seven shops and a new hub kitchen in north west London. The evening menu will feature a range of new and exclusive items, giving customers more filling options for fresh and easy midweek or weekend dinners.
Available from 5pm, a new range of salad bowls includes the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl, the Classic Chicken & Bacon Caesar Bowl, the Salmon & Pickles Rice Bowl and the Falafel & Humous Rice Bowl. The salad bowls will be freshly made in Pret kitchens each evening, for delivery directly to yours, perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking.
On cooler evenings, when something more comforting is what is required, a selection of hot items will be on offer, including Pret’s Lasagne Mac & Cheese (from £5.85), Pret’s Fish Pie Mac & Cheese (from £6.15) and a Butternut Squash & Cali Gratin (from £5.35).
