Now the majority of us are working from home and potentially on a more permanent basis, with one or more of you using the internet, you might have realised your current provider isn’t quite up to scratch. Thankfully Virgin Media has new offers that might solve this.
Virgin Media customers can make great saving and get upgrades to their packages at no extra cost, after the company launched a range of new great value bundles.
With Virgin Media’s latest packages, new and existing customers will benefit from better value contracts, cheaper flexible TV picks, as well as upgrades to faster broadband and more generous mobile data allowances.
Jeff Dodds, Virgin Media’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re offering even greater value with our new bundle line-up which brings together the best connected entertainment, the fastest widely available broadband speeds and fully loaded mobile plans so our customers can stay in touch with the people they love for less.”
“Plus, we’re rewarding our existing customers with great upgrades, including a broadband boost, better value TV Picks and more mobile data – all available at no extra cost”.
Better value contacts
Virgin Media is introducing new 18 month contracts which allow customers to benefit from discounts for longer.
With a range of tempting deals on offer lasting for the entire 18 month contract period, customers can now lock in savings for an additional six months compared to the 12 months contracts which were offered before.
For example, a customer who takes the Bigger Movies bundle which includes Sky Cinema HD and 108Mbps broadband will pay £62 for 18 months, could save as much as £186 over the contract length when compared to the same contract on the old pricing.
Virgin Media has some great deals on offer for customers as part of the new bundle line-up.
Virgin Media’s M100 broadband-only package which comes with lightning-fast 108Mbps broadband costs just £28 per month on an 18 month contract.
In addition the Bigger Sports and Bigger Sports and Movie bundles both include Sky Sports channels in High Definition at no extra cost – usually priced at £7 per month and therefore worth £126 on an 18 month contract. The Bigger Sports bundle costs £65 per month and includes 213Mbps broadband and Sky Sports and BT Sport. Bigger Sports and Movies costs £79 per month and also includes 213Mbps broadband, the sports channels as well as Sky Cinema HD. Both bundles come with 18 month contracts.
Combined bundles offer greater savings
Virgin Media’s Oomph bundles offer outstanding value for customers who take cable and mobile services directly from Virgin Media in one package.
From £8 extra per month, a customer can take a SIM and boosted broadband speeds – which are faster than those included as standard in Virgin Media’s cable bundles. All SIMs come with unlimited texts and minutes.
Virgin Media’s Personal Picks now offer even better value so customers can build a personalised TV service for less. Personal Picks now start at £7 and each subsequent pick costs £5 per month. Personal Picks were previously priced at £10 for the first pick with each subsequent Pick costing £7 per month.
The Picks are available with Virgin Media’s Big bundle where customers can pick and mix a variety of channel packs – from entertainment and lifestyle, to drama, documentaries and sport. Picks can be added to a bundle instantly, and customers have the flexibility to remove them by simply giving 30 days’ notice.
With the new, lower pricing, customers can make big savings and enjoy the best TV on the box for less. For example a customer will save at least £60 a year when taking two or more Picks, compared to the previous pricing.
Virgin Media will move exiting customers who are paying the previously available pricing for Personal Picks (£10 for one pick and £7 for each subsequent Pick) to the new, lower pricing, too.
Rewarding existing customers
Virgin Media is also offering existing customers a number of upgrades to their packages, at no extra cost.
Customers who take Virgin Media’s top-tier bundle, Ultimate Oomph – which includes two state-of-the-art Virgin TV V6 set-top boxes with 265 TV channels, including Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema HD and BT Sport Ultimate, plus a SIM with unlimited data and inclusive anytime home phone calls – will get even faster broadband and see their speed upgraded from M500 broadband to M600 broadband at no extra cost when the speed tier becomes available.
In addition, Virgin Media is boosting the mobile data allowance for existing customers with an Oomph bundle – at no extra cost. Customers with either 2GB, 5GB or 15GB of mobile data can more than double their data allowance by moving to the equivalent SIM in the new bundle line-up without needing to re-contract. A customer can get in touch with Virgin Media and ask for the new mobile data allowance to be added to their bundle.
