From Saturday, life in England will begin to creep back to normality after a host of changes were listed last month.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson – who imposed a lockdown in March following the outbreak of coronavirus – says pubs can open from July 4.
They will be able to open along with other venues including hairdressers, hotels, campsites restaurants, cinemas, museums and galleries.
But unable to open will be venues including gyms, nightclubs and spas, while there was no announcement on lifting travel restrictions despite reports of the UK planning a string of “air bridges”.
Johnson said the lifting was Britain coming out of “long national hibernation”.
